Saving a Too-Short dress with a slip!

I don't know if you guys know this,but I'm a pretty tall girl. I'm 5'9 with no shoes on and pushing 6 feet when I'm in heels. So I'm constantly having issues with skirts and dresses being too short on me!

To help remedy this, I often will throw on a vintage lace slip to help give me an extra few inches of fabric. I find hem at thrift stores and flea markets for super cheap! Check out what it looks like under my teal skirt...

See how short the green liner is without the slip?

And all you can see is a faint outline of the lace through the sheer skirt!
